Warranty & Replacement Policy
At Splintec Lab, we are committed to delivering high-quality dental laboratory work manufactured to professional standards.
1. Warranty Period
All fixed and removable dental appliances manufactured by our laboratory carry a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery to the prescribing clinician.
2. Free Replacement for Laboratory Failure
If a restoration, appliance, splint, aligner, model, or prosthetic fails due to a confirmed laboratory manufacturing defect within the 6-month warranty period, we will replace or remake the case free of charge.
3. Conditions for Warranty Claims
To qualify for a free replacement or remake:
-
The original appliance/restoration must be returned to the laboratory for inspection.
-
The failure must be determined to be related to laboratory workmanship or material defects.
-
The original prescription and case details must match the remake request.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover failures caused by:
-
Trauma, accidents, or patient misuse
-
Poor oral hygiene or neglect
-
Changes in the patient’s dentition or occlusion
-
Natural wear and tear
-
Improper fitment, adjustment, or preparation by the clinician
-
Cases altered or adjusted by a third party

5. Refund Policy
Due to the custom-made nature of dental laboratory products, refunds are not provided once production has commenced.
Approved warranty cases will be resolved by means of a replacement or remake, not a monetary refund.
6. Turnaround Times for Remakes
Warranty remakes will be prioritised and processed within standard laboratory turnaround times unless otherwise agreed.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our laboratory’s liability is limited strictly to the replacement or remake of the original appliance/restoration. We are not responsible for any additional clinical costs, chair time, or consequential damages.
